Our trip starts in Muara Angke, a small harbor in North of Jakarta. At first, we try to hire a travel agency that guide and prepare everything for us in Tidung Island. That Travel agent ask us to be ready at 6 O'clock in Muara Angke. Wake up at 6 in the morning, make us cancel that trip with Travel agency. There goes my IDR. 270.000 down payment.
But, we try to go our self. It almost 9 O'clock when we arrive at Muara Angke. Travel agent said that only a single boat trip to Tidung Island per day. If that's true, than we'll sail to another island that departed from there. As we expected, there are two more trip to Tidung Island, that is at 10 AM and 1 PM. We had 10 AM, IDR 35.000 per person. The trip with boat takes about three hours. The boat was full with passenger, I kind a worry of our safety. Like sardine in there, we can't barely straighten our legs.
1.20 PM we arrived at Tidung harbor. The sand was white, water was clear. Finding a homestay was our priority before we had lunch. Alhamdulillah we have a good homestay, a television, a box of mineral water, air conditioner and two beds, that will do for us. It cost IDR. 200.000 per night. Our lunch was an ordinary meat ball, it was the best we can get. Mostly instant noodle food.
In Tidung Island Small there were only Conservation Research and a couple of cadger. Mangrove also a common sight in both island. We spend two nights in Tidung Island. Back to Jakarta, I mean mainland, we use speedboat to Marina Harbor at Ancol. The cost was also IDR. 35.000 per person with a little snack for free. It was a little boat, for twenty passengers max. No sardine like. But this boat is preferred for the Island resident, if there is still vacant you may fill that seat. More comfortable if we use speedboat, just take the ticket from Marina Bay at 3 AM for 6 AM departures, at least that what other passenger said.
Can't wait another trip to other island.

Travel agent still have a good opportunity for Tidung Island. Not having any troublesome in vacation is an every tourist wishes. If the services are excellence spending a little bit expensive would be acceptable. Cottage and cushioned restaurant are the most urgent for tourist. There are a lot of homestay, but it feels like an ordinary house, there's no vacation like. Food also need to be more vary, it would be great if in the night we having barbeque of beef or lamb not only seafood, neither instant noodle.
That's only a little of thought.
